Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of our website and any services you buy from us. By using the site or engaging us, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

We design and build websites and custom software, and we set up AI phone and messaging systems. The scope, price, and timeline of any engagement are what we agree in writing before work starts. Prices shown on this site are for the offer described and may change for work outside that scope.

Payment terms, deposits, and revision limits are set out in your engagement. Work begins once the agreed deposit clears.

Program name. Lake Shore Digital Alerts, operated by Lake Shore Digital.

Program description. We send business-to-business text messages to business contacts about our website, software, and AI phone intake services, including introductions, replies to your inquiries, scheduling, and follow-ups.

How to join. You can opt in by giving us your mobile number on a form or in conversation and agreeing to receive texts, or by texting START or SUBSCRIBE to (630) 526-7318.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies. You should expect no more than about 4 messages per month, and typically fewer.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages; your mobile carrier may.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message at any time. We will send one confirmation and then stop messaging that number. You can also email us or call (630) 526-7318 to be removed.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, email hello@lakeshoredigital.co, or call (630) 526-7318.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on your carrier and device. Supported carriers may change without notice.

We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our privacy policy for how we handle your information.

You agree not to:

• use the site or our services for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's data;
• interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the site; or
• copy, scrape, or resell our content or work product without written permission.

The site, our brand, and our underlying tools and code remain ours. On full payment, you own the deliverables we build specifically for you, other than third-party components and our reusable underlying tooling, which we license to you for use in those deliverables.

Unless you ask us in writing not to, we may reference the work and show it in our portfolio.

Our work often relies on third-party providers such as hosting, payments, telephony, and AI providers. Their terms and pricing apply to their part of the service, and we are not responsible for their outages, changes, or decisions.

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee specific business results, rankings, lead volume, or revenue.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the engagement giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Either of us may end an engagement in writing. You remain responsible for work completed up to that point. Deposits cover work already scheduled and performed and are non-refundable unless we agree otherwise in writing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
